Interested in Joining Felling Stage Society?
It doesn't matter if you are a complete novice or have years of experience, you’ll be made extremely welcome at Felling Stage Society. We are open to members of all abilities and no previous experience is required. We accept members aged from 16 upwards and all we ask is that you’re enthusiastic, committed, and ready to put on a great show.
What is there to get involved with?
There are always a variety of opportunities on stage, off stage or front-of-house. Click the "What Can I Do?" link on the left to find out more.
When do you rehearse?
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7.30-9.30pm, with occasional Thursday and Sunday rehearsals as it gets closer to showtime. All of our rehearsal are at Felling Methodist Church, Coldwell Street, Felling, Gateshead NE10 9HH (Map)
How much does it cost?
Our membership fees are very reasonable. Fees for 2016 are £40 per adult and £12 for under 18s. There is also a weekly fee during rehearsal periods of £2 for adults and £1 for under 18s
Ok, I'm interested! What do I do next?
Come along to one of our rehearsals and meet everyone - it gives you the chance to see if you’d enjoy getting involved. If you decide to join us as a performer, you will be required to do a short singing audition with our musical director so we can assess your voice type and ability. Just bring some music along and give us a short rendition.
